The 2011 Primary Theme is “I know the Scriptures are true.” This theme will center around teaching the children about the scriptures and helping them to bear witness of their truth. Each month a scripture will center on a precept taught in the scriptures. Scriptrues selected come from the Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price and Modern Day Scripture. The following is the years outline up until the end of July:
January
Theme: The scriptures are the word of God
Scripture: “Feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.” (2 Nephi 32:3)

- Week 1: The scriptures are the word of God
- Week 2: We are to feast upon the words of Christ
- Week 3: The words of Christ will tell us all things we should do

February
Theme: The scriptures teach of Heavenly Father’s Plan
Scripture: “For behold, this is my work and my glory — to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.” (Moses 1:39)

- Week 1: Heavenly Father has a plan for me
- Week 2: Jesus Christ created the earth for me
- Week 3: Families are central to Heavenly Father’s plan
- Week 4: I will follow God’s plan
March
Theme: Heavenly Father speaks to us through His prophets
Scripture: “What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, ….whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.” (D&C 1:38)

- Weeks 1: Prophets speak for Heavenly Father
- Week 2: same as week one
- Week 3: We are led by a living prophet today
- Week 4: There is safety in following the prophet
April
Theme:Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer
Scripture: “We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.” (Articles of Faith 1:3)

- Weeks 1: Jesus Christ was chosen to be our Savior
- Week 2: Jesus Christ is the perfect example for me
- Week 3: Through the Atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved
- Week 4: Jesus Christ was resurrected, and I will be too

Theme: The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored
Scripture: “I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Joseph Smith History 1:17)

- Week 1: The church of Jesus Christ has been restored
- Week 2: Joseph Smith is the prophet of the Restoration
- Week 3: The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ

Scripture: “We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Articles of Faith 1:4)

Theme: The temple is a house of God
Scripture: “Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.” (The Family: A Proclamation to the World”, paragraph 3)

- Week 1: God has commanded His people to build temples
- Week 2: Families are blessed through sacred temple ordinances
- Week 3: The pioneers worked hard and sacrificed to build temples
- Week 4: I can prepare to be worthy to go to the temple
